COURSES FOR OVERSEAS TEACHERS OF ENGLISH FOCUSING ON LITERATURE

Cheltenham 2 weeks: 05 - 19 October 2012 & 1 week: 05 - 14 October 2012

 

Every October INTERNATIONAL STUDY PROGRAMMES organises a course in Cheltenham for overseas teachers of English.

This course takes place during the Cheltenham Festival of Literature and focuses on contemporary English literature and teaching literature in the EFL classroom.

Cheltenham Literature Festival

The course includes:

Attendance at Festival Events involving prominent contemporary British writers, as well as a workshop on teaching Shakespeare and attendance at a Shakespeare play at Stratford-upon-Avon, a seminar on teaching literature in the EFL classroom and an opportunity to observe English literature classes in local secondary schools.
