Erasmus+

Erasmus Plus: Key Action 1

School Staff Mobility

Many participants on International Study Programmes' Teacher Development Courses receive financial assistance from the European Union.

Teachers of English and of other subjects, headteachers, teacher trainers, inspectors and advisers from EU member states (and some other European countries) are eligible for Erasmus Plus grants to attend our courses.

Erasmus+ grants cover most or all of the course fees, accommodation & travel costs.

Applications for funding must be made by schools or colleges. Schools are required to register their interest and submit proposals to their National Agency before the annual deadline.

As a course provider in the former Comenius/ Grundtvig Database with 35 years' experience in organising courses for thousands of European teachers and a reputation for providing quality training, ISP is an ideal partner for European schools and colleges which are applying for Erasmus plus funding for teacher development courses in the UK.

IF YOUR SCHOOL HAS BEEN AWARDED ERASMUS+ KA1 FUNDING:

We invite you to:

  • choose from the wide variety of courses which individuals or groups of teachers may join or
  • ask us to design a tailor-made course for a closed group of teachers from your school.

IF YOUR SCHOOL IS APPLYING FOR ERASMUS+ FUNDING FOR THE PERIOD JUNE 2017 - DECEMBER 2018 (Deadline: 2 February 2017):

We will be happy to help with information and advice for your school's Erasmus Plus application.

Whatever the focus of your school's European Development Plan we can provide a course in the UK to meet the training needs of your teachers. This could be:

  • Professional development for teachers of English to young learners, secondary or vocational schools students, special needs pupils or adults
  • CLIL (Content and Integrated Learning)
  • School development & quality enhancement
  • English language training for teachers
  • Professional development for art, music, drama, history, geography, science, maths or sports teachers
  • Using technology in teaching
  • Outdoor & environmental education

Learner mobility

ISP is also experienced in organising work placements and specially designed courses for school students funded by Erasmus+.

International Study Programmes' PIC number is: 947018276

As part of our school's EU project our teachers attended 5 different ISP courses - for teachers of English, science and history in England, Scotland and Ireland.

All the participants agree that they experienced something wonderful.

ISP courses are carefully planned and meet the needs of the teachers.

The workshops and lectures are of the highest quality, with top teacher trainers - real professionals.

Educational trips are well organised and local organisers are very helpful and caring. Accommodation with a host family or self-catering were carefully selected and very convenient.

I will definitely recommend ISP courses to other teachers and I hope to apply for ISP courses again in the future.
